Taken from the compilation Vilette 45 - Vol. 2 out on April 6th 2020. Villette 45 is back! Once again, the Parisian team rightfully shows the extent of their skills with this second opus: a 13-tracker compilation full of metallic rhythms, atmospheric pads, deconstructed drums and an overall technopunk attitude... From crystal-clear to sub-bass frequencies, these tunes will shake you the core! As usual, the crew ventured into breakbeat/jungle territories (Drew C. Mance, Ghostfish, Clouclou remixing Saint-James), rough electro/techno beats (Venus Attack Project, Behzad & Aurèle, Nephets, vodkaïra & DJ PAUVRE), deep ambient explorations (Flabaire, Tour-Maubourg, Rag Dabons, Gabriel) and a touch of Detroit-inspired house by Mézigue. The Villette posse also dug out the hard drives for this new opus with "Haute Fidélité", a hypnotic electro track from Venus Attack Project (dedicated to Antoine Boullé), or "Under Pre$$ure", an extract from Femmes Actuelles live at the late Parisian nightclub Concrete. With all that said, Clouclou & Aurèle provide you with 30 minutes of shaolin beat routines and obscure transition techniques for your listening pleasure… It’s MEGAMIX time on Villette 45 ! Also don't miss out the music videos of "Les Vaines Splendeurs" by Nephets and "Dega Deso (Cloucou Remix)" by Saint-James, both realized by the artists themselves. Mastered by MB Mastering, Auvervilliers, France. Artwork by Fareed. https://villette45.bandcamp.com / www.villette45.com
