Release date April 25th Nikolay Mikryukov launches spring into full swing with his funky debut EP on Fuzzy80s. His two beautiful originals are complemented by stunning remixes from Allende and Maxim Klein, both of whom have already made a name for themselves on the Fuzzy roster. Sit back and relax or dance to your heart's content, this release will bring the warmth into your soul and the sun will take care of the rest. Spring (Original Mix) This funky track brings sunlit energy tempered with bongo and a kick with attitude. Futuristic vocal heralds warm days to come. A melodic breakdown illuminates reflection in a pool. Then birds take flight, and vocal, bass continue their journey onwards towards summer. Neon City (Original Mix) Neon City opens with the artist’s signature bongo, and sharp kick. In this piece, neon lights bounce off a car cruising dark streets. Strings enter, like a lady in dark satin, wearing the smile of a jungle cat. Time pauses in the breakdown, as the metropolis moonlight pours down her curves. Then bass resumes - she's glowing like a secret, leading you down into the depths of a basement club. Vocal reminding you all you have is this moment. Make it last forever. Spring (Allende Remix) In Allende’s hands, Spring is pulled down into darker territory. Badass retro bass complements the funky melody. The soundscape of the original breakdown opens out, and colourful birds erupt in a flurry, moving the track onwards with tireless energy. Neon City (Maxim Klein Remix) Maxim Klein remixes Neon City with a sophisticated touch. Lights are given life with an illuminated arpeggio. Original strings are complemented by a more determined bassline, the lady becomes a prowling panther with looks to kill. The breakdown has evolved, evoking anticipation of the dancefloor. The remixer’s addition of a post-punk male vocal surprises. Bass leads you down into the club, an unforgettable night beckons with curves lit by black satin.
