The greatest and most under-rated band of the 70's. Under the guidance of song writers Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman, The Sweet gained their cute/cuddly image of bubblegum pop stars - but only here in the UK. Over the rest of the world - they were appreciated for what they REALLY were - hard rockin' rock stars - with a taste for the outrageous. They gave us some truly memorable songs - and many many more that a true fan of rock would WILLINGLY load onto their IPod!! There are several versions of some songs on this playlist.
