"No Hit Wonder" is the third musical album from the Swedish poet Daniel Boyacioglu. He has won the national championship of so called Poetry slam. He has given out five books with his poetry, written for the theater, the Swedish Royal Opera, and for the Swedish Radio Theater. Daniels lyrics are playful and humoristic, mixing slang from the suburbs with a sophisticated poetic style. Though they might be a little hard to digest for someone not used to read poetry, this might be one of the factors to why the album hasn't received the recognition it deserves. The beats are solid good, with some classic samples; for example "Isaac Hayes - Hung up on my baby" in the song "Istället för disco istället för pop". Even if you don't understand the lyrics there is things to appreciate in this music, Daniel is very rhythmical in his rhyming and every song sticks out. Enjoy!
