A [3-part x 2] music video series of the Italian 'lesbian' drama (or more precisely - a story of a straight woman's insecurity and her stupid/selfish way of dealing with it). This movie starred Margherita Buy and Sabrina Ferilli. My first series was set to songs by Barbra Streisand, Maureen McGovern, and Nancy LaMott, and summarized the movie. The second series was set to tracks by Karen Souza, Trish Rooney, and Italy's Paola Turci, and depicted the underlying pain, regrets(?), and forgiveness. I have said it earlier that I did not believe Federica's crocodile tears. I doubt her sincerity of love for Marina, and I think she came back because she missed all the familiar convenience that only Marina could provide. Federica had passed the time of putting up with certain behaviors of men, and she was comfortable with Marina, who treated her like a queen. I do not believe Federica's admission/confession. At the same time, I found Marina too lenient and too eager to give up. BUT Marina was the real angel who is mature about this whole Federica mess even though she unfairly suffered the consequence a great deal. Marina was ready to forgive and welcome back the one who wronged her in the worst way possible. Federica is a woman of many flaws - with indecision and insecurity as the most obvious. I wouldn't doubt that she will again one day bring Marina trouble of the heart. Do not trust that ALL straight women who have chosen the lesbians are going to be true to and totally on our team. They are physiologically and mentally hetero and can revert back anytime. Many of them are trouble waiting to happen. Again, I'll say lesbians are better off with fellow lesbians. Having unloaded all that, I'll add that I LOVED the actresses (and Alessia Barela), their acting, and the set. My only problems are with 1.) the indecisive, insecure, selfish, lying, and remorseless cheater; please note that I didn't blame the man in this movie because he was only her tool; ALL the faults belonged to the straight woman; and 2.) the wimpy lesbian who forgives to quickly. :-} Not all real-life lesbians are saintly. I'm DONE dissecting the movie. :-D This playlist is dedicated to my generous angel.
