Denver's Hayyoo is back on Rewoven with his first solo release "Desire", following his collaborative appearance alongside Ophanim earlier this year. Where that release leaned into open, airy relief, "Desire" pulls the focus inward: a patient low-end pulse, hushed percussion and a melodic hook that keeps circling back like a thought you can't put down. There is a restrained tension running under the whole thing — it never spills over, and that is exactly what makes it linger. With an ongoing successful run in the melodic & chill house scene, Hayyoo is certainly the name to watch for.
