out of the 1000+ songs on my phone, these are the only ones rated 5 stars no particular order, i just tried to mix it up a bit means end - the didact: this song was at the end of some vsauce video, a bidipi i think, it interested me so I checked it out, and again, and again this was quite a while ago but it essentially introduced me to progressive metal and really expanded my taste, i can't remember what I was listening to before this, probably some my little pony dubstep or something this song gives me huge chills and the entire album is just an experience to listen to, means end put so much effort and passion into this album and for a bunch of ordinary guys with instruments, it's quite impressive amon tobin - wooden toy: occasionally i like to jump from album to album and I eventually found myself at amon tobin's ISAM, it didn't catch my attention too much but it was the right kind of weird so I wanted to listen again, after playing the album a few times I eventually picked this and Kitty Cat to be my favourites and promptly downloaded them, wooden toy puts me in another world every time i listen to it loud tesseract - dystopia: never payed too much attention to this song until recently, just listening to my downloaded music again and the raw slapping of the guitars caught my attention and I decided to give it 5 stars, though it's probably my least favourite on the list savant - savior: one of his recent songs but I instantly fell in love with it, I end up doing some off-the-spectrum sperglord spasm when the gunshots go off, it's just so catchy and fun to listen to, easily one of his 'best' and the fact that it has its own video means he probably agrees destiny potato - indifferent: not much to say here, just another destiny potato song I really like our oceans - precarious speaking of our oceans, I found this whole album from the means end facebook page and thought it was all really chill, so after listening for a few more times I fell in love with this song in particular, so much so that I actually bought this song alone on bandcamp, just to download the FLAC and upload the song myself since it wasn't on youtube tyr - into the sky this album is another one of my favourites, so many great songs from intense metal to relaxing folk, this song being on the former end of the scale originally my favourite from the album was Hel Hath No Fury, but I caught myself singing along and swoshing my head back and forth to this song like a broken washing machine filled with angry midgets, so I just gave it 5 stars cause it doesn't happen often... i hope savant - ICANDO i've been listening to savant for a while, found him when birgirpal liked his nightowl video, but I definitely would've found him eventually since a friend of mine is a big fan too after hearing pretty much every song of Aleks' worth hearing, I checked out the Aleksander Vinter Discography and picked a few forgotten songs I liked, but this one specifically isn't a particularly good song by usual standards, I'd imagine, but I really enjoy it! the muddled up feel and surprisingly catchy beat just makes it so satisfying to listen to leprous - lower from another session of jumping from album to album, I came across the entrancing sounds of leprous' new album called "the congregation" each song on there is fantastic in its own right but the calming melody of the former half followed by the mind-melting harmony in the latter half makes "Lower" a ludicrously enjoyable song to listen to and it sums up my "taste" in music pretty well. destiny potato - addict i'll admit; while album-hopping, this band's name made me laugh and really lowered my expectations but holy fuck, they've got some good music alongside The Didact (means end) and Our Oceans (self titled), destiny potato's LUN is in my top 3 albums because there's just not really any bad songs on there, but Addict is the one I enjoy listening to the most daedlus - fair weather friends no idea when I found this but it was a while ago, probably the oldest favourite on the list there was a time when I would use youtuberepeat and this song clocked over 6000 repeats, and that was before I de-synced chrome and clocked up another 800 before downloading it, I will never get sick of this song as it's just so calming and easy to listen to i'm not a fan of the rest of daedlus' music though, only this song I like from them and I like it way too much, though comparing the view count for this with their other music, pretty easy to tell that this is their magnum opus leprous - Mb. Indifferentia after listening to The Congregation for the umpteenth time I decided to listen to some of their other albums, I really enjoy "Chronic" from Coal but the only song I enjoy on the same level as "Lower" is this song from Bilateral. hope i didn't sound too pretentious here tl;dr: i really fucking like these songs I RAN OUT OF SPACE AAAAAAAAAAA
