Bombarded With Flowers

'Taking Views from an Aeroplane' (1987) and 'El Cheapo Blastura' (1990) are cassette-only releases by the Indiana-based DIY duo of Tom Burris and Nick, aka Bombarded with Flowers. I learned about them from an indie mail order catalogue, and purchased these two cassettes, as well as a couple of cassettes by Burris. 'Taking Views' features an appealing blend of folk, country, blues, psychedelic rock, and experimental instrumentals, while 'El Cheapo' is harder rocking, more experimental, and more lo fi.
