Organist Olivier Latry of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris inaugurates the pipe organ at Our Lady of Refuge in the Diocese of Brooklyn. The restoration of this pipe organs was largely paid for by over 1000 people who love the pipe organ most of whom have never been to Brooklyn. They were customers of JAV Recordings and helped when they were asked. These videos are for them. The restoration of the organ at Our Lady of Refuge in Brooklyn was spear headed by Joe Vitacco with the clergy and staff of the parish. The project took 10 years. This is one of 7 organ recitals organized by Joe Vitacco to celebrate the restoration of the organ to pristine condition. He hopes the organ will be properly cared for and shared with the professional organ community and used the by the parish.
