I started making music when I was 15. I used to record random stuff on my lo-fi gheto blaster. My first attempt at making a band was in late 1987 with a friend of mine. We formed "THE DOGS" It was a simple band made up of myself on vocals and my friend Chris on Drums...well not really drums but.. (a cymbol on the bed and banging drumsticks around the house.) We recorded a few tape recordings. In 1994 I started Dill-Doh Secrets... DILL-(a fruit or seed used in medicine) DOH-(money or bread (both are perfect combos) SECRETS-(anything sacred or secret on earth) My music ranges in styles. I started out recording using mini casio sampling keyboards and voice dubbing effects along with my nintendo (Super Mario Paint) program. Which had a music program basically for kids to fool around with. I made 10 albums! In 1999-2004 I started experimenting using computers and 4 tracks with higher recording qualities then my previous years of lo-fi recording on cassette tapes. My style changed a lot!!! I was experimenting with looping, vocal effects different drum machine programs (Fruity Loops, Reason, Vegas, Sound Forge) I went through fazes of abstract techno hip-hop to country blues pop. A true unique sound from the underground. My lyrics abstract and chaotic were mostly add-lib. Very rarely anything I recorded was planed or written. That was the joy of it! If I didn't like how it turned out I would record over it...
