Ogwang Clipper plays on a 'nanga', a traditional Ugandan instrument with seven nylon strings in a wooden box. Clipper is one of the most experienced and respected nanga players in northern Uganda. He mostly performs with his female counterpart on vocals and his dancers, who account for the rhythm with whistle and bells. Even his broken foot in plaster doesn't keep Clipper from coming all the way from his village to Kitgum town to perform this song for us.
