“Ragarachanajali”, the book of my bandish compositions with an audio cd, has been out of print after the first edition (2004) and two reprints thereafter. I keep getting regular inquiries about its availability. In response, here is an attempt to make it available to the wider public without going in for a priced hardcopy reprint. “Ragarachananjali 2” is still available in hardcopy. The book has a foreword by Pandit Ravishankar and was published at the hands of Gaan Saraswati Smt. Kishori Amonkar among the presence of my Gurus and many stalwarts of the Jaipur Atrauli and other Gharanas. Her speech at the publication is also included in this playlist by the same name. All 84 bandish compositions are uploaded and available here. The text part of the book is not included. Smt Seema and Pandit Vishwanath Shirodkar have provided harmonium and tabla accompaniment for all the tracks. Miss Shruti Abhyankar, my student, has contributed to the production of the videos.
