Solipsism (2015)

Solipsism, written with no audience in mind and recorded in the pianist’s Amsterdam home, has achieved gold status. 2025 Deutsche Grammophon celebrates the 10th anniversary of Joep Beving’s iconic debut album Solipsism with the release of Solipsism Redux. Beving’s reworkings of the original album’s 11 timeless, introspective tracks retain his essentially minimalistic style, adding further layers to the contemplative nature of what he has since called “simple music for complex emotions”.
