About: Sleeping In Silence (S:NS) is a Kentucky-based metal band created on January 16, 2022 by session musician and horror movie producer: Denny Kidd. S:NS would begin as a solo project on the day of Kidd’s mother’s funeral. One week earlier - Kidd would find his father…deceased. Kidd would begin writing music therapeutically and this would be his attempt to save himself from…himself. 6-months later - Kidd would add additional members and the band would become a 5-piece. The band would quickly develop a wide online presence and would perform live at many events throughout Kentucky and Tennessee. During this time - the band focused on marketing and would perform many cover songs by bands such as: Motionless In White, Bad Omens, Slipknot, Bring Me The Horizon, Falling In Reverse and originals written by Kidd previously for his inital solo project. S:NS would very much be accepted by metal fans and by the hiphop community due to their incorporation of hiphop into their energetic live shows. In 2024, Kidd would make essential S:NS line-up changes. These changes would open many doorways for the band and birth the true essence and sound of the band. In 2023 - S:NS would be featured in the theatrical horror/comedy film: Daylight To Dark - written by Rollin Jewitt (Amercian Vampire - starring Carmen Electra & Adam West). S:NS would appear in the film and also be included on the film’s official soundtrack. Starring in Daylight To Dark is actress/singer and horror Scream Queen: Tuesday Knight (A Nightmare On Elm Street Part IV: The Dream Master). Kidd would produce her track (Daylight To Dark)(written by S.Denney) and can be heard on the ending credits to the film. In 2025 - Sleeping In Silence would be a selected winner of an online open-verse challenge presented by national touring act: Butcher Babies and legendary producers: Joey Sturgis and Howard Benson. The band was selected to appear on a remix version of the popular Butcher Babies track “Sincerity“. Working with Judge & Jury Records and legendary producer: Howard Benson - the track will be releasing worldwide this Fall. On August 21, 2025 - Sleeping In Silence would release their well received single “Still Alive!” to all major music platforms. An official music video would release on the very same day. The official music video would be presented by The Kings Of Horror and Kidd Kave Music. The video would debut on the official Kings Of Horror youtube channel (1.57 million subscribers). “Still Alive!“ would quickly get selected to be featured in 2 theatrical horror films: Festevil (CK Film & Entertainment) and Only Fangs (A & P Productions). #sleepinginsilencekult #sleepinginsilence #metal #metalband #gothic #goth #alt #altmetal #alternativemetal #emo #metalcore #metalcorebands #grunge #numetal #newmusicreleas #newmusic #newreleases #trendingaudio #trendingsong #playlist #playlistsongs #heavymetal
