From this restless curiosity emerged Dijf Sanders & Segers: a project where distant voices and textures—most recently captured from fieldrecordings in Vietnam—are channelled through Sanders’ machinery and set free through Segers’ drumming. Here Segers becomes a Man-Machine, a human sequencer, while Sanders acts as a living effects processor, bending and reshaping sound in real time. Together they sculpt music that is raw, trance-like, and tribal—never pre-programmed, always alive in the moment. Rather than following the classic cycle of studio and stage, Sanders & Segers invite the audience into an unfolding process. Snapshots of live shows are distilled into digital releases—fragments of a sound world that cannot be reproduced in the studio, and that exists most fully in the act of performance itself.
