So....how many of you recognize the album artwork? Come on....you gotta know what movie this is from right? You guessed it! It is the promotional poster from John Carpenter's 1982 cult classic - The Thing! For those of you who have not seen this flick, it tells the story of a research expedition in frigid Antarctica where the main characters discover an alien life form. However, this isn't the heartwarming story from E.T. No, this is some really freaky s***!!! This alien engulfs other life forms and imitates them to perfection. The team must work together to take down the alien before it escapes to the mainland and mass-infects the entire world population. This chilling 5th chapter of Demonic Chronicles pays homage to The Thing. The title Frostbite Parasites was inspired by the film itself. Frostbite Parasites focuses on the theme of a cold winter with hits such as "Cold" by 5FDP and "World So Cold" by Three Days Grace. The dark melodies of "The Night" (Disturbed), "Here to Stay" (KoЯn), "Duality" (Slipknot) emulate the feelings of the unlucky researchers who were overtaken and consumed by the alien creature. In addition, I introduce new artists into the Demonic Chronicles army such as Shinedown, Sevendust, and one other band with their cover of an old time classic. So bundle up for this sub-zero journey into the next round of Demonic Chronicles. If you can survive the frozen tundra of demons that lie ahead, you will have the chance to see what is next. Oh yes, by "next" I mean there will be much more to come! -Mike Risi
