The series presents an interesting short cut into the history of Finnish choral music, with one piece from every decade from the present to over 100 years back. The oldest work in the series is thus from the golden age of national romanticism from the 1910s and the latest from the recently begun 2020s. There are both classics everybody knows and discoveries that Key Ensemble wants to bring up and make them more famous, especially to the international audience.
