Representing: The Stardut's Indosiar

StarDut is an Indosiar-broadcast dangdut singer search event that took place on November 2, 2007. After D'Academy and KDI, StarDut is the third-largest dangdut competition in Indonesia. Following their selection, all StarDut contestants will receive instruction in dance, singing, performance, personality, and fashion while being housed in a dormitory. The StarDut Contest will include all of the chosen StarDut candidates each week. The major commentators, Purwacaraka, Ikke Nurjanah, Aline Tumbuan, and Benny Simanjuntak, will evaluate the participants' performances. A panel of 100 audience members will vote on the results.
