Heio - Full Album

🪗🎶A new sound rises from the Caucasus. “Heio” is the bold new album by renowned Georgian composer and artist Chabuka Amiranashvili, created in powerful collaboration with Vaniano Khachidze, master of the Georgian garmoni. This premiere release brings ancient folk spirit into the present moment—where mountain echoes meet modern rhythm, and tradition dances with fire-driven beats. Across 9 deeply individual tracks, the Georgian garmoni leads the way, surrounded by bass guitar, drums, and contemporary production that refuses to stay locked in the past. Familiar folk melodies are reborn with fresh energy: from the highland atmosphere of Accordion in the Mountains, to the tender, love-filled Gelino, the poetic dialogue of Shairi, and the oriental pulse of Salam. Alongside these are striking original compositions that feel both rooted and fearless—music that carries memory, motion, and momentum. “Heio” is not a museum of folk music—it’s a living landscape. Each track opens a new door into Georgian culture, emotion, and rhythm, inviting listeners into mountains, lowlands, celebrations, and introspective moments alike. This album doesn’t just revisit tradition—it gives it a new voice, a new heartbeat, and a new future.
