I'm recording every song from The Monkees' record "Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn, & Jones, Ltd." on my smiley-face soprano ukulele. To help remind the viewer which Monkee sings lead on each song, I'll be donning different hats: Mike Nesmith: Cowboy Hat Davey Jones: Boater Mickey Dolenz: Tweed Flat Cap Peter Tork: Porkpie It goes without saying (yet here I go saying it) that I wrote none of these songs. I own the rights to none of them. The ukulele arrangements are entirely my own, but I'm trying to keep the songs as faithful to the originals as is possible, so very little "arranging" has taken place. I hope somebody out there enjoys these videos as much as I've enjoyed making them. And I hope that watching these will rekindle your enthusiasm for this record, this group, this instrument, and these hats.
