A variety of music videos for my 2020 picks, featuring a wider array of musical genres and allowing videos that aren't "music videos", per se (e.g., creative visuals for songs worth a listen, and in IMAO, stellar tracks from a tragic year with compelling visuals that aren't quite "music videos"). The key: artistry in sound & vision, often within the confines of COVID-19 restrictions. I'm disappointed in the lack of anti-right-wing/anti-white-supremacist "protest music" in 2020. And who am I? I'm Jesseneuro, DIY musician singer/songwriter/producer struggling to release new Neuro music due to the political climate of deranged inaction, climate change, and disease exacerbation, guided by blood-red Russian Putin and dirty energy against humanity. The playlist order of videos is ... random. And the criteria is time-centric, 2020, although some videos were released in late 2019 (but are from 2020 album releases). AND ONE NON-MUSIC VIDEO announcement, 34 seconds long is included herein because it WAS MUSIC TO MY EARS (it's after the 4th video, Stevie Nicks's music-video montage, "Show Them The Way", a politically motivated plea. Its lyrics- piano version-video was dedicated in Oct 2020 to Biden & Harris). Given the inexplicable popularity (& unpopularity, among the MAJORITY) of a psychotic gangster/pathological liar destroying the country (and the world), and his sycophants, all unfit for office, acting as public manipulators (and killers) rather than public servants, 2020 ended with a new President-elect, thank GODDESS. Stevie Nicks had no doubts. I did. The time of my writing is early February 2021, Black History Month. We're past the psycho rallying to remain in office culminating in a dismal death-hued Capitol invasion by Republican invitation and corrosion on Jan 6th, 2021, which should have been an epiphany for the "Republican party". Or are its outspoken pro-Trump radicals scared, under constant threats to their lives and their families? Has this been the case for the past four years? That would explain their feigned insanity unless it's an inexplicable religious belief that propagates their lies, which would be deranged insanity or a chemical one, like MK-Ultra-like mind poisoning. Then there's the "pandering to their constituency" of too many deplorable or uneducated trouble-makers. They should be educating their constituency; under duress, they couldn't. The sky isn't falling, but the polar caps have been melting. Short-term profit won't please Mother Nature. Anyway, this playlist is, unfortunately, a bit devoid of political protest songs but awesome in each particular song's sound & vision. Artist of the year: Stacey Abrams. Thank Goddess for Stacey Abrams, and the good people in Georgia who worked hard to VOTE. WE LOVE YOU. MY SENSES ARE OVERLOADED.
