Lydian Mode is like the Major Scale with the exception of the 4th degree. For example instead of F in C Major you have an F# in C Lydian. C Lydian: C, D, E, F#, G, A, B (note, the same notes as G Major ... C Lydian is built on the 4th degree - C - of G Major. there are multiple ways of looking at this.)
