https://ComplexMelodies.com “the Complex” Album gained national attention and recognition as CY, who became known as a rare lyricist, songwriter & producer, released his first album full of songs he had been performing in New Orleans Louisiana since 1998. “the Complex” album opened up opportunities for CYclone in the music industry which lead him to move to Houston, Texas after being asked if he would consider moving to Houston. CY performed 7 songs, & after his performance a well known producer named Stikk grabbed CY by the shirt & literally yanked him out of the building telling CY he was so impressed by the music that he had to grab him and talk to him about how good he thought his music was. CY moved to Houston 7 months later and began to work with Stikk’s label. While working with Stikk CY agreed to sign a non traditional artist & partnership deal with Much Luvv Records inc. to produce and create songs about life, the Gospel message & build the MuchLuvv Records brand. President of Much Luvv Records Bobby Herring aka: Tre9, saw something in CY that was worth more than a typical traditional artist/label record deal. At that time, the label consisted of 3 artist after CY joined. Tre9, ColCutz & CY! Those 3 went on to work together to further build the Much Luvv Records brand of music!
