Official HD Audio for At The Dream's Edge by Chimp Spanner http://store.basickrecords.com/artist... (worldwide) http://basickrecords.bandcamp.com/alb... Crystalline production, exceptional instrumental performances and intricate songwriting combine to make At The Dream's Edge an engrossing listen. Highly recommended. 4/5 - http://www.onemetal.com/2010/03/29/ch... Put simply this is an album that will let you lose yourself for an hour in some of the most inspiring music that I have heard in years. 9/10 - http://www.thisisnotascene.com/2010/c... The highest compliment that I, as a review and listener, can give Paul is this; I am jealous of his composure abilities. This is hugely ambitious music, that is executed with surgical precision and has soul baby. 4.5/5 - http://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/37... Throughout the album, Ortiz demonstrates not only a musical proficiency that is unmatched in his field but a scope that outstrips a lot of the instrumental musicians out there. It's not a case of he can play the fastest licks or the heaviest riffs, it's more that he writes some of the best instrumental music that I've ever heard. If Ortiz can keep up this level of quality then soon enough he will be hailed as the next Steve Vai. 9/10 - http://mwdreviews.com/chimp-spanner-a... http://www.facebook.com/basickrecords http://www.facebook.com/chimpspanner
