What I'm Listening To

Here's a collection of some songs I'm really liking at the moment. The Acorn - Crooked Legs: Loving this band The Acorn from Canada. Whole album is great but this is a real gem. Fleet Foxes - Helplessness Blues: Still some of my favourite lyrics of recent times for sure. "If I know only one thing it's that everything that I see of the world outside is so inconceivable, often I barely can breathe." Rodriguez - Street Boy: Finally got to see this absolute legend at Glastonbury this year. Very humbling. Arcade Fire - Ready to Start: Foot to the floor for this one... Rickie Lee Jones - The Moon Is Made Of Gold: Such a sweet song, written by Rickie Lee Jones' dad performed beautifully on Jools a few years back. Tom Waits - A Good Man Is Hard To Find: The greatest, laziest trumpet solo in the world...and of course no playlist is complete without at least one Tom Waits song. Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros - Child: Chilled as it gets.
