To begin the celebrations of the middle of my 'middle ages' when I finally hit my first half century in May 2018, here is some actual music...from the Middle Ages! I recently put together this playlist of some early YouTube experiments I did, in arranging for my first clunky, chunky lyre, a few of the medieval melodies I recalled hearing many moons ago, brought back to life by the late, great David Munrow... The playlist also includes melodies from the time of the Crusades, with an 'online lyre lesson' at the end, on how to learn to play one of them!
