And The Raven - In Triangles (2013)

In Triangles is an album that centers on the variables that affect our seemingly linear lives. Unforeseen or apparent, they are what throw us astray and, in turn, what bring us around. Heavily sexual and with plenty of allusions to alternate and elevated states of consciousness -- often drug-induced --, the album is loosely autobiographical. With alternating singers and styles, "In Triangles" navigates from start to end in diagonals, like a sailboat would tack into the wind.
