This Mix is a little selection of few tracks from the albums and few more extras. Producer of downtempo ethnic music, Easy Velvet fuses melodic trip hop and oriental vibrations in a kind of cinematic way. The dusty beats, percussion and samples, mixed with classical strings, tribal & eastern voices, ethnic instruments, delays and psychedelic synths modulations will immerse you straight into this most peculiar style: a unique encounter of acoustic and electronic worlds. Originally from France, he has been on the move since 2001 and has spent most of his life among freethinkers and players. Immersed in various musical genres that inspired his style, he is constantly in pursuit of old school tones, precious samples, dusty loops, haunted sounds, new arrangements and combinations. After remaining in the shadows and doing his musical homework for over two decades, he finally has developed a pretty unique way of playing his music... "Live": launching and withdrawing each musical element one by one, blending each new track with the previous one, handling volumes, effects, filters, and so on, thanks to multiple fully hand mapped controllers. Therefore, each time a set is played, it is played in its own distinctive way. Easy Velvet started to spread his musical vibe on stage in 2020, during private parties, events and festivals. If you wish for something, let's say, "slightly different", just don't miss it.
