(ヘヴィーズ事典より引用) www.heavyz.org/cyclopedia.html This rock band was formed in October 2001 by three Japanese men living in Tokyo. The members are Tyra (vocals, guitar, and songwriting), Sanovabitch (harp, percussion, chorus, and Muneaki Taniuchi), and Yokoya (guitar, mandolin, chorus, and driving). They released the four-song CD "SAME OLD HEAVYZ (Koi no Futoshidō!)" in early 2002 and their second album, "Wild Joint," in the fall of 2002 on Hyacinth Records. They don't hesitate to make nonsensical statements like, "We're going to make rock grown-up!" I can't think of anything else to say about them. I don't want to say anything. In early 2007, after their support band finally abandoned them and they were left with just three members, they decided to stick to their basic policy, one they'd followed since middle school: deciding drums and bass by rock-paper-scissors. Since then, the winner, Sanovabitch, has been playing drums, the runner-up, Yokoya, has been playing bass, and Taira, who lost, apparently wanted to play drums or bass but is still only playing guitar.
