Let Me Be is the sound of a woman standing in the doorway between who she was and who she’s becoming. The project traces a journey from loneliness, loss, and searching for belonging (Operator, One Day, Where to Run) - through self-acceptance and release (Let Me Be, I Am Loved, I Am Worthy) - ending in reconciliation and return in Home: a quiet, tender homecoming to oneself. There’s an undercurrent of spiritual awakening, family wounds, forgiveness, and a deep craving for freedom - both emotional and divine. It’s vulnerable, yet steady in its resolve to grow. Sonically, Let Me Be doesn’t follow rules. It blends country storytelling with pop sensibility, layered with unexpected textures - Indian instrumentation, bold drum choices and emotional landscapes shaped by producer Chvna (Nkululeko Wiseman Thungo), with vocal production on the entire EP and full production on the title track by Olly Vans. It’s eclectic, intimate, and unlike anything you’ve heard before: a world built from vulnerability, honesty, and experimentation.
