Tijuana Dogs

Matt Mauser & Tijuana Dogs have been resident artists at Campus JAX since 2019 — and their monthly appearances have become one of the defining live-music traditions in Newport Beach. Built around great musicianship, fearless song choices and Matt Mauser’s unmistakable connection with the room, Tijuana Dogs turn every performance into a full-scale dance party. Their sets move freely through classic rock, ’80s and ’90s favorites, pop, funk, alternative and unexpected songs that somehow become part of the party the moment they hit the stage. This playlist brings together Tijuana Dogs performances captured LIVE at Campus JAX, preserving the energy, spontaneity and audience connection that have made these shows perennial sellouts. The band’s evolving lineup combines veteran musicianship with the ability to go almost anywhere musically — including soaring rock vocals, deep grooves, guitar-driven anthems and the occasional left turn nobody saw coming. If you’ve ever been in the room for a Tijuana Dogs night, you already know.
