Σταυροδρόμι

Σταυροδρόμι (Crossroad) is an album of Greek songs composed by Nikos Papadogiorgos, with lyrics by Giorgos Gonias. It brings together elements of Greek and Mediterranean melodic tradition with a harmonic language rooted in Western European music. The songs are shaped by a lyrical, melodic sensibility, rich harmonies and carefully crafted studio orchestrations — creating a sound that moves beyond the boundaries of conventional Greek songwriting while remaining deeply connected to song as an expressive form. At the heart of the album is a search for songs that are concise in form, yet emotionally and musically layered — carrying within them something of the depth, colour and inner movement of larger musical works.
