The B:Music Jazzlines Commission 2022 was a unique talent development opportunity for two individual Birmingham based jazz artists to collaborate with an artist of their choice from outside of the city. The two newly formed groups created new collaborative projects to showcase the breadth of talent in Birmingham and place it at the forefront of the UK jazz scene. 2022 winners Alicia Gardener-Trejo & Steve Saunders presented their final project in a 45 minute concert on the Symphony Hall Flipped Stage in October.
