Erik Satie has influenced many composers. I started this playlist with Erik Satie's 1st Gnossienne, which is marked by the piano alone, with melancholic, intriguing, sometimes gloomy intonations, and always very melodic. Following this Gnossienne, I included composers who seemed to me very close to the melodic universe of this piece. With Erik Satie, it is very hard to be inspired by his work without tinting the compositions enormously, his influence is difficult to hide.
