A collection of Nigerian hymns and Catholic liturgical music, bringing together music from Nigeria’s rich tradition of Christian worship. The playlist includes Nigerian Catholic hymns and songs for different parts of the Mass, alongside music for praise, thanksgiving, prayer and celebration. It includes works by Nigerian composers represented in the Our Lady of Hope hymn library, as well as music particularly associated with Nigerian Catholic worship. These hymns form an important part of the musical life of our diverse parish and are especially valuable for International and multicultural Masses, Nigerian celebrations and communities wishing to explore African Catholic liturgical music. Our recordings include choir and congregational performances, solo singers, organ and instrumental arrangements, with lyrics where available to help congregations, choirs and music leaders learn the music. #NigerianHymns #AfricanCatholicMusic #CatholicHymns
