"Da un codice lauten-buch del cinquecento" by Oscar Chilesotti; Leipzig, ca.1890 This book is a collection of Italian & German XVI century lute music. In the foreword Chilesotti wrote that he obtained a codex (as he thought from the end of the XVI century) in which a German lute player collected the most famous pieces of that time (written in Italian lute tablature).
