A Summer I Never Saw Again | California 1986

Close your eyes. It's 1986. The Pacific is warm, the radio never stops, and somewhere a girl is stepping out of a pool in slow motion. This is that summer the one you lived, or the one you always wished you had. Seventeen synthwave tributes to the films and faces that defined an era: Lucas, Phoebe Cates, Stand by Me, Ferris Bueller, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and more. Every song on this playlist was written for the ones who grew up watching these films on VHS, alone in the dark, feeling everything. Still in the Night where the 80s never ended.
