The FolkTube Room was a pop-up video studio at the 2014 Folk Alliance International conference in Kansas City. Solo artists and groups were invited to record live videos in a single take. The room was equipped with a backdrop, lights, a stereo microphone and an HD video camera, and very little else. The FolkTube Room was given its name by Charlie Stewart of Handshake Management, Austin, TX.
