Plaisirs Sonores Records welcomes acclaimed producer Modd with 'Train to Toronto' EP, a three-track release that brings together two original productions and a collaborative remix from Nick Warren and Nicolas Rada. The title track, 'Train to Toronto', takes listeners on a deep and progressive journey, combining rolling grooves, a massive bassline, and carefully evolving melodies. True to Modd's distinctive approach, the track develops gradually, creating a strong sense of movement and immersion without losing its dancefloor focus. The release also features a heavyweight reinterpretation from progressive house legends Nick Warren and Nicolas Rada. Their remix pushes 'Train to Toronto' into a deeper and more expansive direction, adding their own melodic sensibility and sophisticated progressive energy while preserving the essence of the original. Completing the EP, 'Ganymed' explores another side of Modd's sound, with a lighter, atmospheric approach and an intricate progression that makes it a perfect companion to the title track. With a career spanning acclaimed releases across the organic house landscape, Modd has established himself as one of the genre's most respected producers, known for his detailed productions and emotive, immersive sound. Nick Warren, a foundational figure in progressive house and the force behind the legendary Global Underground legacy, needs little introduction, while Nicolas Rada has become a prominent name in the modern progressive scene through releases on respected labels and his distinctive melodic productions. "Modd has a very special way of creating music that feels both deep and emotional while still working incredibly well on the dancefloor. Having Nick Warren and Nicolas Rada reinterpret 'Train to Toronto' makes this release even more special for us. We've been playing these tracks in our sets and they always create a beautiful moment. We're very happy to welcome Modd to Plaisirs Sonores Records." — Hicky & Kalo, founders of Plaisirs Sonores Records With 'Train to Toronto' EP, Plaisirs Sonores Records brings together three carefully crafted progressive journeys, connecting Modd's distinctive sound with the experience and vision of two generations of progressive house.
