À nu

The À nu EP is a collaborative effort co-produced by Swiss producers GR! & Hook and written and performed by Nairobi based R&B musician Karun. Hook and Karun previously released a fan favorite record; "Pen & Paper" back in 2022. Through the success of this Pen & Paper, Hook and Karun both agreed that they would love to make more music in the form of a joint project. Hook enlisted frequent collaborator GR! and started mapping out a 7 song EP track list, thus the seeds for the “À nu” EP were planted. “À Nu'' means “Bare” in French. “When you are “à nu'' it means that you give a pure and true image of who you are, without hiding anything, with no filters.” ~ GR! The 7 track project weaves a sonic tapestry of melancholy electronic R&B on “REASON” & “HOW FAR” blended with more upbeat pop and hip hop songs like “WONDERING WHY” & “I’LL TELL YOU WHY”
