The Roots (Rare Tracks)

A collection of VERY rare track from The Roots during their earlier years. This collection is direct from my own personal archives of arduously collected rare Roots songs/images. The majority of these tracks came from low run vinyls. The videos with the "Roots Live" tracks came from a white label vinyl that had the black tracklist sticker attached to the vinyl cover. The sticker appears to be a "negative" copy of a vinyl center sticker from another vinyl. I personally, have never (or heard about) another copy of either the vinyl I own, or the original vinyl that it was copied from. These tracks are from both the golden era of 'The Roots" and the golden era of all Hip-Hop. They exemplify the energy that The Roots brought to all of their performances at the time which have propelled them to the live instrument Hip-Hop pioneers they are today. In sharing these rare tracks with all the world, it's my hope they bring joy to all Hip-Hop fans for long after my time as a HIp-Hop Head have come to an end. Enjoy!
