Jean Guillou (1930-2019) had a very warm relation with The Netherlands; from his first recital in 1970, his tournées in the years '78-'83 and 2000, until his last concert in 2016: he especially loved the strong characters of the different historic instruments in The Netherlands. In his own ideals about organs, the Dutch Sesquialtera and Cornet, as well as the typical Dutch soloreeds like Vox Humana and Regaal have a prominent place. As a composer he is not yet fully 'discoverd'. I collected some live recording from concerts where I played some lesser known short pieces on Dutch organs, and his most famous organwork, the Toccata op. 9, played on the Schuke organ in Mülheim an der Ruhr.
