Their self-titled, "The Skeetles," 2020, in order. The Skeetles have coined the term "Piss Punk" in the most fitting way with their self titled and first album. Made in the early ages of quarantine, this collection of songs displays small town anger, commentary on norms of drugs and alcohol, politics, and a call out for the small town mayor, Wiza, all within parody, of course. Members Taser Armsgone, Guylas Allin, Fulian Bullet, Bucky Chazminger, July Livedpoor, and Travis Fuchs (all aliases) created a compilation of tracks showing what they call "the greatest band of all time," and, being quite, as they would call it, "fucked up and crazy." "Charlie is Haunting My House" what with its coherent melodies entailing the haunting of Taser's house by a deceased friend, counterparted by tracks like "Shitfaced in Suburbia" or "Fucked Down," which show the more unhinged side of the group. Some are more ballad-like, like Bucky Chazminger's (who is black, by the way, as the band would like you to know before they get cancelled), "A Song By Bucky," and I suppose "Luxury Rehab" also fits under that category. All in all The Skeetles' self titled is a gem from this summer, showing some genuine humor in the dark that has been this year. My favorite track is "Drunk Driving," which was recorded in a closet.
