The THIS IS AFROGRIME series was developed as a creative challenge: producing one remix per day for a week (excluding Sunday). In remixing Stand Up Tall, OZFERTI aimed to fuse the rhythmic and sonic qualities of Nigerian/Afrobeat music with grime’s typical 140 bpm energy. The result is intended as a stylistic bridge between London’s grime and West African rhythmic influences.
