Folk Studio 2 is the second chapter of the acclaimed Folk Studio series that brought the richness of Odisha’s folk music to audiences through DD. Following the success of its first edition, director Dev Meher returns with Folk Studio 2—a renewed effort to honour, preserve, and reimagine the folk traditions of Odisha for a new generation. Featuring the evocative voice of Susmita Das alongside several distinguished folk artists, the series brings together traditional melodies, regional sounds, and stories rooted in Odisha’s cultural heritage. Folk Studio 2 is more than a musical series—it is a celebration of the voices, traditions, and living heritage that continue to shape Odisha’s musical identity.
