The Druids came out of the first wave of electric blues 'garage bands'. We grew up playing Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley as well as Muddy Waters and Howling Wolf. UNI Records signed us, re-named us 'The Druids of Stonehenge' in 1967 and made us play psychedelic rock. The band didn't survive but the members did and remained brothers. Almost a half century later, we offer you "American Ghosts". This is an all-original album released in 2021. It is a tale woven from ten powerful, darkly funny songs that are truly representative of the lives of youth in the second half of the 20th Century, told using the language of the blues and the blues-based Rock and Roll we grew up on and still love.
