Gothic Rock, Dark Wave, Medieval, Dark Ambient and Neue Deutsche Todeskunst by Explizit Einsam. Combining Gothic and Darkwave styles with classical and electronic sounds, the project was founded by musician, composer, and vocalist Andreas Ohle with the aim of writing romantically dreamy and melancholic, introspective songs as a means of self-discovery. The lyrics take the listener on a journey into the depths of the inner self, exploring existential themes such as death, loneliness, depression, melancholy, isolation, unrequited love, the meaninglessness of life and the cruelty of one's own existence.
