Voyage Direct is a record label and artist development platform founded by Tom Trago in 2010 to showcase lush, synthesiser-heavy club music. In 2024, Voyage Direct returned with a refreshed identity, a new roster of artists, and a reiteration of its core philosophy. At the heart of the Voyage Direct ethos is a desire to connect different generations of artists from the Netherlands and beyond, with Trago showcasing music from some of those who inspired him (the likes of Awanto3, Aardvarck and Sterac Electronics), alongside fresh material from debutants and up-and-coming artists. During the label’s first phase between 2010 and 2017, Voyage Direct delivered early or breakthrough releases from Dutch artists including Tracey, Elias Mazian and Intergalactic Funk. Following the label’s reboot in 2024 more talented young artists joined the roster, with Trago keeping a close eye on the Amsterdam underground while also looking further afield for inspiration.
