Woodstock 1969 Festival Concert Recordings on Cotillion Records featured in both Stereo and Monaural formats to give a choice on how to hear it and/or compare the 2 versions. I prefer the Mono Mix versions because most of the Stereo Mixes seems to have an odd sort of mix that does not sound like well balanced stereo and this is how much of the stereo versions from the Woodstock 1969 Festival sound on my vinyl and tape copies which is why I made all the mono versions I have posted and you can access these in 2 playlists created at the 2 links following this paragraph. There is overlap on some tracks between the 2 playlists. First playlist link https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list... Second playlist link https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list... Enjoy the performances. Transferred to video with stereo components on channel background photos and in featured channel videos. On April 13th, 2019 the Mono Promo album to Woodstock 1969 Festival Concert has been released as a "Woodstock 50th Anniversary" reissue at the event "Record Store Day 2019" and according to notes, it was transferred from the original soundboard master tapes as well as some rougher mono mix tapes along with some tracks taken directly from the original Cotillion Mono Promo Radio Station issue Vinyl LP Album whenever the mono master tapes on certain songs were missing in preperation of this 50th anniversary reissue. The 3 album set is available on Atlantic and I plan on getting a copy to hear how close my mono fold down mixes from the stereo Cotillion album and stereo chrome cassette tapes I have to what they achieved on the reissue. I am very happy to see this Mono album that was only sent to radio stations in the early 1970's finally get released to everyone who might want a copy of their own and hopefully, it well stay in print for at least the whole year of 2019 in relation to Woodstock 1969, 50th anniversary.
