Steppa Browne is back with more of his magic. His new adventure starts with the tranquil Beside the Sea as beautiful piano melodies and criss-crossing breaks puncture the still air with visions of endless oceans. Tianne continues with more evocative piano and is littered with calming jazz influences that are sure to bring a smile to anyone's face as oldskool breakbeats whizz from speaker to speaker. Velvet is as smooth as it sounds as emotional piano that stirs the soul is gently joined by breaks, bass and gloriously placid pads. The EP ends on We Recover as the tight break work continues, with sprinkles of synths and floating atmospherics to bring this musically bewitching EP to a close.
